ABHAYDEEP

SINGH MUTTI

Abhaydeep Singh Mutti an Engineer and a technophile, he is leading VueNow's Marcom activities and awareness programs. He brings a rich experience of more than eight years of experience in Media Management, events, and production in the entertainment industry

He was previously associated with the Punjabi industry and he has been part of projects like Jatt and Juliet & Carry on jatta. In the year 2016, he joined VueNow and since then he has done more than 150 activities and awareness programs. Glimpse Magazine got in touch with Mr. Mutti to get an understanding of his ambitious plans. Here are the interview excerpts: Can you tell us about your journey? Well, it is a long journey since I was a kid I wanted to do UPSC followed by MBBS but then I switched my mind and at that time there were hardly any choices and the only option I was left with was engineering.

How important is it to have prior knowledge to do your job? I don’t think that is necessary. It is, of course, an advantage but you have to be a technophile to explain the technology. What is the most valuable lesson that your career has taught you so far? Passion and hard work go hand in hand. You need to be true to your work and try to learn from everyone you meet whether they are less or more experienced than you.

Any challenges you faced? How did you overcome them? The typical challenge of coming as a new service provider is the competition with existing players who may not be very large but have been in the market for a couple of years. We have the resources and domain knowledge and the promise that we can deliver better than existing players. Challenge now is to convey benefits to the end customers which I'm taking care of

Which prerequisites are necessary for your job? I think empathy is essential. And to be a team player. Our big team shares an office, so everyone must get on well. You should be able to adapt to different people and characters and to be technophilic. Moreover, you should be able to teach and transfer your knowledge to others. This also means that you need to be able to explain the same topic in different ways so that in the end, everybody understands. That is our aim: That everyone takes much new knowledge with them.

What sort of activities and awareness programs you have organized for VueNow? What has been the thought process behind them? I have organized more than 150 programs. Having a great product available to your customers at a great price does absolutely nothing for you if your customers don’t know about it. That’s where promotion enters the picture: it does the job of connecting with your target audiences and communicating what you can offer them.

How do you balance your personal and professional life? You don’t have to manage if you take your professional life personally.
What do you consider your main achievement? What makes you proud? Being where I'm today brings me a lot of satisfaction and I’m proud to hold this place.
